I've been trying to figure out an answer to this.

Specifically, is there a SNES emulator with rewind support for 3ds that runs most games without frame skipping?

i cant think of any 3ds emulators with rewind though for snes best bet is either retroarch or just use a vc injector

I know even virtual console has save states. Was thinking about getting someone a n2s xl for emulator use, but he doesn't want to bother without the rewind button.

So what 3 emulators DO have rewind?

AFAIK only the retroarch emulators support rewind. I don't use rewind too much but I generally use snes9x 2005 (not plus) with rewind granularity of at least 3.

hmm. and this doesn't introduce lag, or cause it to drop below 60fps?

what's the best performing retroarch package now for n3DS now? i keep reading about regressions.
