I am planning to play some PSX games on my PS2. But before I become intimate with PSX-in-PS2 gaming, I have a question.
If I save my progress of my PSX game, will it be saved to the PS2 memory card? Otherwise, where will the save end up in?

Thanks for the help guys [IMG]

No, PS1 saves aren't compatible with PS2 memory cards, you will need a PS1 memory card to save onto.

You can also copy PS1 saves to PS2 card, but it's only a place saving purpose.

Only a few PS2 games, if not only one, can read a PS1 save.
Suikoden 3 read Suikoden 2 saved game copied onto a PS2 memory card, but cannot read PS1 card directly and can't save to it.

I think that is very bad... the ps2 memorycard SHOULD be able to save psx games... Now I have to find a psx memorycard, just to replay silent hill (i have my old save on the ps2 mc)
