I did not notice that, nor could I find information like this on google, answers.yahoo, wiki, facebook, youtube, or any where else you can get information, so I created this forum but thanks for the tip!

Also I had more questions then the topic title says but it relates to firmware/acekard2i/dsi-wifi.

Thanks, do you have any information regarding about the new dsi firmware? Any information on any flash cards being able to go around the new dsi firmware?

As of right now, no Flashcarts have gotten around the block. I'd give them a week or two before they'll figure it out. (Note that as soon as they do, a few weeks later, Nintendo will release a new update once again rending them useless.)

It blocks all i flash carts. I have an Acekard 2i and I really don't want to buy a new cart if hardware updates are needed.

It's not out yet, so far all the other region firmwares block it.

I Got a DSi

2 days ago and it came w/ 1.2U had to update to be able to use the shop to download the Internet Browser, and few DSiWare. so now 1.3U...

And probably staying on that for a while, not updating to 1.4 unless

*A game I really want to play, make me to update.
*The update give really good features, like a better internet browser using as cache the card on the SD Slot.. and not internal memory...

JSH, you have to update in order to use the browser... why doesn't anyone understand this? Also, with version 1.4U there supposedly comes a new version of Opera.

No, it'll take a week or two before they'll be ready. Infact, it could be longer, up to a month, before they can even think about getting started on one. There's a lot of time that needs to be spent on finding loopholes, then they have to code the firmware, which takes time to do.

Just be patient, you'll have to wait quite a bit with these cards because I can garenty about a week after they update the firmware of the last updateable flashcart, Nintendo will update again.

Why should they update again after a week? There's absolutely no reason that points to this conclusion. They waited a while for THIS update - DSi flash cards existed months ago and they didn't release an update. You're just going to panic people with saying bullshit like that.

Go to drunkencoders, they just publically released a hack about half an hour ago. You can only run what you can fit into an 8KB save file.
