Hacking Question About Downgrading

I just got a PSP 3000 and it has OFW 6.20. I have a warranty of 30 days, but I want to go online before I hack it. Can I upgrade my PSP and downgrade my PSP back to OFW 6.20 at a later date?

Thanks for the replay, but I don't want to hack it yet just incase my PSP breaks before the 30 days are up because I bought it used from Gamestop.

Then yes, you can downgrade it later as long as you don't update it past 6.39 to be safe.

PRO-B8 is also easily uninstalled. There isnt any kind of log that logs that you have updated it to a CFW. And even if it breaks down while in CFW. As long as you did not install the permament patch, it will run on OFW again.
