lilyuko,

Reformat your microSD card in FAT16 (assuming it is under 4GB). Put the TTMENU.DAT file and TTMENU folder (with its contents) onto your empty microSD card. Make a new "games" folder on your microSD card and place one or two .nds files into it. Make sure you remove your microSD card using the "safely remove hardware" feature of Windows (otherwise your files on the microSD card can be corrupted).

thanx for ur advice but no matter how I do it, it still shows the menu? picture!!! I dont know what im doing wrong

That icon indicates that you have a microSD card inserted into your DSTT, but you didn't install the kernel properly. Why don't you describe in detail exactly what you're doing and I'll try to help you.

Also, answer the following questions: How big is your microSD card and did you format it in FAT16 or FAT32? What files are in the TTMENU folder that is at the top level of your microSD card? What is the file size of the TTMENU.DAT file that is at the top level of your microSD card?

i have a 2g sd card and I formatted in 'fat'

What did you do to get past the "Menu?" problem?

It sounds as though you may have a bad microSD card, or else a bad DSTT. First try using a different microSD card (borrow one from a friend if you don't have one).

it ended up being a faulty dsst card. I got a new one and it works fine
