Playstation 1 (PSX) Emulator for the OpenPandora system by ZodTTD[/p]

Release notes said:
Currently in beta. Update in 1.0b2: Extremely improved framerate/performance due to a silly bug concerning framelimiting. Improved framelimiting. Various fixes to the file menu. Full screen scaling as an option. Default is aspect ratio scale. Working nub controls.

How to install:
1. Place the pnd in the SD card's directory: /pandora/apps/
2. Stick the SD card in your Pandora and on the desktop you will see the psx4pandora app. Run it and choose EXIT with the B button.
3. Now that the appdata directory is created on your SD card at /pandora/appdata/psx4pandora-1/ copy the PSX BIOS file scph1001.bin (all lowercase!) and your games (BIN,IMG,ISO,Z) to that directory.
4. Run psx4pandora and choose to Load A Game. Note that loading without a BIOS isn't supported currently. Play on.

Just buy a PSP? If all you want is PSX, then the PSP can do that extremely well if you load CFW onto it.

i used to have a psp, but i really didn't like it, it doesn't feel comfortable to me and i don't like the analog stick, but that's just me i guess.
and no, it's not just about the psx games, i care about the amiga 500 emulation and the mame port just as much

No you're not. Pre-orders for the second batch haven't started yet.

Anyway, this isn't all that there is for the Pandy. We have a working, full-speed with many (expected to be full speed with all eventually) N64 Emulator!

@SylverReZ, I dislike the kind of drm where you have to play single player games online all the time bc of some verification bs

@Xdqwerty, Don't use games that have Easy Anti-Cheat as its been exploited many times.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

@SylverReZ, i think they have been doing that since late 2000s

Either that or their old games were unfinished aswell but we can't notice it

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare
