HI,
Hope someone can help, been all over the net and nothing seems to solve the problem.
I have a phat psp that has never been modded.
I turn it on and you can hear disc spin then it stops, Turned volume up but no sound when pressing buttons. Sometimes the power light stays on and sometimes it turns off but the screen is always blank when I turn it on ( a little light but not much).
It has not been dropped and I have opened it up to check the connections on the lcd and everything looks fine.
Any ideas?
thanks

HI,
Thanks, it is not mine but as far as i know no updates have been performed on the psp. I have just put my pandora battery and magic memory stick in and i actually get the screen saying:
Press (X) to install 3.80M33
Press (Circle) to install original 3.80
Press (Square) to dump nand to nand-dump.bin. When done, PSP will auto shutdown
Press (L) + Â + (HOME) + (START) to restore nand from nand-dump.bin

Obviously when I press the square to dump i cannot save this anywhere as i cannot see the screen to goto the memory stick on my pc, I have tried doing it my copying the movements of my psp that works lol but no joy.

Any ideas what to do next guys,
Thanks you are great here.

if you can go to this screen you are able to restore your PSP to custom firmware or official firmware

Well, Can't you dump the nand.bin then insert the Memory stick into the computer and it will be there for you to pull off and save. Then you can go back to that screen and install CFW 3.80
