i added some stuff to the game engine wiki. some dos projects, ultima 7, rick dangerous, etc. i had to strip out the game files for nicky 1 and 2 =/. the game does requires a few specific files that were released for the gba port, which is what the psp port is based on. those files might be hard to find because the gba release page is now gone. i'll just say that if you want to try out nicky 1 and 2, then google their psp release names. you should rather easily stumble across the dev's release page, where he hosted releases packed with the game files.

also i would like to point out that the openbor port has had another significant update. the latest release fixes an old psp related save bug.

Is there a GB/GBC emulator that supports Super Gameboy colors and borders? I tried Masterboy and the unofficial RIN version but they both don't seem to support it.

I'm pretty sure Super Gameboy was supported in Masterboy. Maybe try Emumaster since it's based on Masterboy and see if it works. Could also be the rom.

Yeah, both support the special palettes if you specifically set the mode to SGB (tried with Picross and Pokemon Yellow). Would be still interested in the borders though.

Masterboy 2.10 apparently has a built in color pak for Super Mario Land, but I don't know how to get it to work. I've tried multiple different ROMs. The Super Mario Land 2 color pak works fine. Anybody know what's wrong?

Also, is it possible to get hacked GB ROMs to run on any PSP emu? I want to play the Metroid II color hack: http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/204/

It says colorization is on every time I check.

The Metroid II hack doesn't work on Masterboy or RIN. Just freezes at a white screen.

the link becomes unlink

don't know how that happened but it should be fixed now...

its because they were edited to be HTML by a mod, so that they would open in a new window. bbcode doesn't behave that way. the issue probably has to do with the fact that no one can post html here but mods, so the links were reverting to something different.

/PSP/GAME/emulator/EBOOT.PBP

That's the base structure for homebrew. If there's any more or less folders between the root and the EBOOT (disregarding folder plugins), it won't run properly.

Also Picodrive > DGEN IMO. I should take some time later and sort the emulators with best compatibility/speed at the top.
