Hardware PSP in small yellow box -- Is it real? More Info Plz

I'm about to pick up a PSP and I only have a photo to go on. I am asking for the community to help me identify it and to offer more information about the package. I have never seen this package for sale and I want to make sure it is legit.

The person selling it has stated the following information:

• The PSP 3000
• The Owners Manual
• The Charger
• 256 MB memory card

My PSP 3000 came in THIS box. I have never found one for sale in a different box. I have seen a few limited versions that came in the same size box but had different graphics on it.

I'd like to find out if anyone has this smaller yellow box, if it did come with a PSP 3000, and what firmware it was running? I'm concerned that this PSP might be a refurbished unit, from another country, or something along those lines. If you have this box please let me know as much information as you can.
