Hacking PSP 3001c. help

Hello, so I need some help. I have a PSP that has a broken charging port [The yellow one]. Is there any other way to charge it [Like the top ps3 cable port]?

I was also thinking about putting cfw on it.... what cfw is permanent that works on PSP 3001c?

Uh, the picture is clearly from a PSP-1000 (and the "PS3" is a Vita 1000)

PSP-1000 needs a hardmod to charge from miniUSB, 2000 and 3000 can charge from miniUSB but only if you can turn them on in the first place (unless you do the same hardmod that's done on the 1000, connecting together the power lines of the charger socket and the miniusb)

You can't and just use Pro CFW, using permanent CFW is too much of a hassle.

Well, considering that you'd have to open it up in the first place, I would say "buy a new charger socket", they're cheap from China and no precision soldering required: https://www.ebay.it/itm/191332523401

For permanent CFW, the newest is 6.61 LME with the Infinity permapatch

Officially it only works while you are in USB memory stick reader mode (CFW fixes the issue), but you still need to boot the console and leave it on - if you run out of battery you're screwed (unless you cheat with an external battery charger)

Sure: again, as long as you never run out of battery or have a standalone charge

My opinion is to just get a new socket, no reason to give yourself this arbitrary and uncomfortable restriction

So, I go to the PSP fixed and put cfw on it (infinite LME) thanks for the help my dude
