Hacking [PSP 3000] Latest CFW?

Ello can anyone tell me the latest version of cfw
currently using 6.60 pro-b9
trying to play ff type-0 but all the cutscenes are black screens will updating my cfw fix this issue
any recommended settings/disabled pluggins I should be aware of?

It's not just "6.61 Infinity", you still run Pro or ME with Infinity.

Yes, the latest CFW can run Type-0 properly. When pressing Select for the VSH menu, change your UMD mode to Inferno and the game will load fine. Pro-B9 might even already have this setting.

Set in-game CPU to 333 in VSH. That might help with frame-rate.

Inifinity is a Hybrid Firmware (HFW). It uses OFW 6.31 to boot and OFW 6.61 for the rest of the firmware.

so if I update to 6.61 infinity can 1 run ff type-0 with working cutscenes perfectly?

Hypothetically, Pro-B9 should work too. But yes, with Infinity and CFW, the cutscenes will work. CFW is needed to run ISOs that are not spinning in the UMD drive, and other unsigned/homebrew code.

so how should I do the install it all seems pretty confusing

For Infinity and CFW? I will reiterate that Infinity is not necessary; Pro-B9 should still be able to play it with the right driver selected.
