I understand that point; just like normal updating process or suddenly lose power of Wii U in game (memory corrupted I just read last night); bad memory card when backing NAND... all poses some kind of bricking risk.

So let me just ask this straight away. With the updated sysupdater, it is as safe as KTM can get in case I get the correct firmware package for the 3DS (model, region), right? So no point to wait for KTM? I thought of KTM as some kind of stable sysupdater (downgrader), but new info seems to dimiss this notion.
Assuming you have the proper CIA pack the only advantage KTM has over sysupdater is that it will verify the hash of the downgrade pack before attempting the downgrade. If all of your CIA files are proper (in every way) then KTM has no advantage over sysupdater... KTM was mostly made for no0bs who have no idea what they're doing, as well as lazy people who don't bother checking the integrity of the CIAs once transferred over to the 3ds

Also it seems like when downgrading using the current tools you will be at the desired system version but no hax will work, so you will not be able to run CFW or even Browserhax. I'm not sure exactly what's going on, but it looks like a dirty downgrade.

EDIT: Ninjd by JustPingo
well i got sliderhax then installed menuhax 2.1 and rxtools
