Anyone mind telling me what the QA toggle and the rebug rex edition does? I see it in the instructions but once you install the 4.82 FERROX Standard cfw shouldn't you be good? (sorry super noob to ps3 scene)

I was able to get the expolit and get CFW on my cousins slim PS3 20XX though NOR with no issues. Still having trouble on my phat CECHK through NAND. I've encountered failures at almost every step, fail to trigger, freeze on success, and data corrupted on an attempt to install CFW. I'll keep on trying though.

Go to ps3 web browser, type the host you find in miniweb.exe in the ps3 web browser address bar, and either nor.html or nand.html depending on ps3 console you have.

wait, so we put the thing after host, then nor or nand.html? like with a space? with a / ? can you give an example? I'v tried dozens of different ways of typing that and they all bring up page cannot be displayed

I got a success massage when tried the hack , but when i try install 4.82 FERROX Standard it reach to 77% then ( the data is corrupted 8002f957 ) i tried and done it again with hack got success still same problem help plz

Just a heads up I don't know if you did what I did but I was stupidly selecting Nand when doing the web exploit and I just realized my PS3 is NOR. So I am currently trying to do the nor web exploit. I guess I am lucky I didn't brick or anything. Hopefully the CFW works after I get SUCCESS for NOR without a freeze.

It is supposed to freeze and then reset after a minute or two, right? On a CECH 25xxA PS3 Slim with NOR and min FW 3.40.

I don't know what else to tell you but that. I was able to to get the exploit to work with a slim with the NOR method. Trying now with a phat and NAND with unsuccessful results. Most times I freeze on success but if it makes it past that it shuts down almost immediately but CFW installation gives me a data corrupted error. Here I thought the phats were supposed to be easier to mess with.

Oh then it must be something else for you. I just successfully did the NOR exploit and I finally got past 73% on the CFW copy/install. It finally rebooted to fully install it and it was successful. So it was definitely my dumb mistake that was messing it up. I am on a 25xx slim.

I ended up using a real old usb 2.0 reader I found with a new 64gb microsd in it for the final successful install. Also I started hosting my own web server instead of using that website. It probably doesn't make a difference since my problem was clearly that I was using Nand when I should have been using NOR but just a FYI for what worked for me.
