Hacking ps3 to pc

i am hoping to get a ps3 in the future, and connecting to a TV is not possible for me so i can only connect it to my pc screen. i know there are vid tutorials to do this, but will my screen (samsung 923nw) support this?

It says it has composite in, does it?

no its got a blue one connecting to pc i'm sure its dvi and a power cable

Then no, there's no way to do it without extra hardware like one of these.

The "blue" one is usually VGA. DVI tends to be yellow, grey or white.

I think you need one of those "VGA to S-Video" adapters:

I don't know if it works but they're pretty cheap ($3 - $5) so give it a try.

im not going to get a ps3 now btw, just fantasising

im hoping to get one summer 2011 would it be worth it then? meaning would a new ps be out or close to coming out?
