Game Informer executive editor Andrew Reiner is teasing a “surprisingly big show” for PS Vita at E3 next month.

Reiner's LATEST TWEET follows last weeks AMAZING BIG TITLE TWEET from SCEE manager Shahid Kamal Ahmad.

It seems like something is brewing at the Sony Vita camp, with Sony themselves stating that PS Vita sales could suddenly spike.

Hopefully this is the start of what all Vita owners have been waiting for.

E3 runs June 11-13 2013

I'm lucky that I can understand Japanese natively....there's too many games on the Vita that I have a backlog on it...

I don't know if he's so far off with his prediction - "KillZone: Mercenary", "Dragon's Crown", "Tearaway", "Final Fantasy X & X-II HD Edition", "Ratchet & Clank: Q-Force (Full Frontal Assault)"and "Warrior's Lair" will hit store shelves this year, "Soul Sacrifice" was just released and judging from the Demo, it's excellent, "Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time" was just released, "Phantasy Star Online 2" is likely to be localized, "Jak & Daxter HD Collection" was announced... there's a lot to look forward to on the PSVita front this year, I'd wait till E3 before making judgements.

There really are a lot of good games already confirmed for this year. I just wish we would see more RPG's here, and more PSN titles from smaller developers. Guacamelee was probably one of the best games I have played on my Vita in ages (Outside of Soul Sacrifice)

Hoping for a hardware revision, something smaller.. cheaper preferably.
While cheaper would be nice, I can't see why people would want the PSVita any smaller than it is. Maybe it's just me being all grown up or something, but I'm pretty satisfied with the size - larger console means the buttons/analog sticks/d-pad have a lot of space from each other, which equals less gaming cramps. ;)

Mainly because of portability and the fact that a smaller system would mean Sony can cut costs in areas such as the screen and other components, I have small hands so cramping doesnt affect me as much.

I heard rumors that Warrior's Lair was canned which would be a fucking shame because it looked really sweet in demos and I want a solid dungeon crawler on the system.

Good god as if the Vita wasnt already big enough. Imagine trying to use the R or L buttons, let alone the rear touch pad.

I hope the Vita takes off, it's kinda sad to see how small the retail section for Vita games is when I go to GameStop or best buy. I remember the PSP's library being small, but not that small. Hang in there, my eventual purchase.

Considering how the Vita was almost completely brushed over last year, yeah, just about anything would be "surprisingly" bigger.

Still, I hope the little guy can pull a 180 here. It's a wonderful piece of hardware, it just needs the software to keep pace.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.

@SylverReZ, atleast wiimmfii went fine although people only use it for Mario kart Wii
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
At least if they ban you for cheating, get another Wii. They're cheap as chips.

Remember when RiiShop was a thing?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
    not really
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It got shutdown because somebody "accidentally" leaked the database for the amount of people using the beta.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
RiiShop is the laziest way of downloading Wii games. Did somebody not think of this through?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, I think you're talking about the recovery mode that the SaveMii used, and also was to restore softbricked systems.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Brb
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, Oh yeah, that was a thing too. Dolphin does support Wiimmfi.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
yeah you just need to put your NAND backup with wiimmfi on it
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
ngl i feel like if a bunch of my friends have wiis and know how to get wiimmfi and back up their NAND, then we could do a PMEX Remix tournament
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
maybe even add UMVC3/DBFZ and make it a biathlon/triathlon
