English please..?

This is the only question you have????
I thought my MOD is the only proper one with original battery controller and 40% bigger capacity all in one battery. Not two with different capacities where one will overtake another.
I was hopping for the "Wow, cool" at list ;)

How's the battery life?

Exactly 40% longer.
Depends how do you use it.
I do with wifi on (multiplayer) + Bluetooth on (wireless speaker) + brightness 100%
Plus heavy games, witch kicks hardware to maximum load.

On regular play wifi/Bluetooth off, brightness 60-65%, sound 30% , I got 6 hours instead 4-4,5 hours.

As for me it's a great achievement

is that a note 4 battery?

Yes, it is) I was searching over hundred of batteries. This one is the best fit, best size/ capacity (real capacity) ratio and most important best output ratio "load characteristics and flat discharge curve" (because vita is very high demanding)

Better battery life with Xiaomi power bank 10600 mAh.
We are talking about internal solution for PS Vita ;)

I thought you were having some problem with it. Since it doesn't, question time!
1.Is this possible on the 3G model?
2.Required tools?
3.Tutorial?

Tools and tutorial will be ;) if you really need it

Thanks, let me know if you find one for the 3G model because I really need it. 1 more question, is this possible on the 2000 model?

It is interesting and very useful.
Nobody did it before me in this way.
So I can claim it as "Simonius battery MOD[emoji367]"
The guide is:
- remove PS Vita original battery;
- unpack it shell;
- unsolder battery controller;
- take Samsung galaxy note 4 battery and unpack it as well;
- desolder note 4 battery controller and solder ps vita battery controller;
- remove some plastic walls (wifi model) to fit note 4 battery;
- assemble and enjoy ))

I was dreaming about 3G model because of GPS. But there is no development and use of it. So it's a waste. Sell it. And get WiFi one with firmware below or equal 3.60 and enjoy the Freedom

    The snack that smiles back, Ballsack!
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
    I really would like to make a hack that I would enjoy playing, and maybe other people would too. swapping to the EU version would also mean my US friends could not legally play it
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
    I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
    I appreciate the insight!
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    @TwoSpikedHands just switch, all the knowledge you learned still applies and most of the code and assets should be the same anyway
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    and realistically they wouldn't

    be able to play it legally anyway since they need a ROM and they probably don't have the means to dump it themselves

    why the shit does the shitbox randomly insert newlines in my messages

    It does that when I edit a post.

    It inserts a newline in a random spot.

    do y'all think having an sd card that has a write speed of 700kb/s is a bad idea?
    trying to restore emunand rn but it's taking ages... (also when I finished the first time hekate decided to delete all my fucking files :wacko:)
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    @Karma177 that sd card is 100% faulty so yes, its a bad idea
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    even the slowest non-sdhc sd cards are a few MB/s
  • Karma177 @ Karma177:
    @The Real Jdbye it hasn't given me any error trying to write things on it so I don't really think it's faulty (pasted 40/50gb+ folders and no write errors)
