PS1/2 Ps 2 monitor help

i have question about this monitor will it work on the old ps2 the thicker one

I assume you mean a portable monitor since you didn't post any other details such as a link.
If it mounts on the console then no, the old style PS2 is too big, but if doesn't mount the console it should work since the PS2 and the PSTwo (and PS1 and PS3 for that matter) share the same AV port connector.
