Hacking [Proof of Concept] Digimon World Next Order Translation

Hello guys,

since Major_toms recent post, fantranslations became possible.
As such I'm posting a proof of concept of a theoretical Digimon World Next Order Translation+Modding

I showcase 2 hacks:
1) Text insertion
2) Model replacement (The DW1 protagonist is usually not playable)

Model ripping is also possible

Unfortunately I have no capture card, so video capturing is not possible for me.

Very cool. Not to diminish the potential here, but Cyber Sleuth was incredible and I'm really hoping it sold well enough in the West to warrant an official localization of Next Order. Even then, some mods would still be pretty rad.

Cyber Sleuth was incredible. This one unfortunately was not that good... Still Digimon fans don't get too many games, so what I wanted to show by this was simply: In the unfortunate event that it won't get localized after all, there is still a way

Hello, I just played around with the Chinese version of Next Order. And I found something interesting.
Could it be, that the game is already semi-translated into english? I just extracted the DigimonUpdate001R.cpk files and opend the lang_00_en file, and it got a ton of stuff translated into english. Like menu description, digimon description, item description and some other stuff. Hope we can use that somehow.
