Seeing as how progressive music is clearly the best genre of music.....
What are your favourite prog bands/artists?

These are some of mine:
Pain of Salvation
Dream Theater
Pink Floyd
Steven Wilson
Porcupine Tree
Symphony X
Haken
Spock's Beard

I could go on.....

Liquid Tension Experiment
Porcupine Tree
The Ocean Collective
The Pineapple Thief
The Mars Volta
Circus Maximus

In no particular order, except for the first few.

Yes I consider Radiohead and Muse prog. Though honestly speaking, while Radiohead might not be a very proggy band in the traditional sense, I feel they should be considered prog. Muse definitely fits in with the Prog bands, especially with OoS and Absolution. Both are very good experimental bands though.

Metallica. They are prog. Especially their late 80s shit. Puppets has so many complex parts and shiz. And Justice, the entire album, has some weird time signatures and stuff. But yeah.

Dream Theater
Animals As Leaders
'tallica
I'm not big on prog really. System of a down has some proggy elements i guess. I can never calculate "Question!"'s time signature. I love them. And I'm drunk.

I agree with you about Radiohead and Muse. Two of my favourite bands, but I consider them more Alternative than Progressive.
