Gaming Problem with Frozen Fruits

i hope i'm in the right thread
well maybe some of you knew about a old (but not bad) game called frozen fruits (and has anothers like frozen fruits 2, summer bound, christmas bound), is a very very old game, kinda like from 2003-2004, and i have a netbook with W8, I7, 8GB RAM, and lots of things, in example i can run smoothly sonic generations and play ePSxe with the highest settings so... why frozen fruits (and others) runs in my pc so slow? i do have a virus? maybe i need an special configuration? please help
