Hey,

I have a backup of Metroid Prime Trilogy DVD5 and I tried to launch it first on the Backup Launcher 0.3 Gamma and then on Neogamma r7
but in both launchers the game loads but after I pick the Metroid Prime 1 in the loading menu the Wii restarts
how can I solve this?

same problem here too, i don't know what the issue is, once i choose the game it green screens briefly and restarts the wii.

To load Metroid Prime you need use neogamma R7.

When neogamma loads, select Config options, then where it says 'Alt. Dol', change it from 'none' to 'disc'

Then select 'start from DVD' as normal.

Before the neogamma boot screen disappears it will pop up 'main.dol', if you push right then, you need to select the right .dol for either Metroid Prime 1 or 2.

RS5MP1.dol = Metroid Prime 1
RS5MP2.dol = Metroid Prime 2

Thats it, it should work fine now. (NOTE: you need to have loaded the normal way first (when it crashes) and created a profile, then do the steps I listed above.)

Have fun, they are great games .. :>

Just heard that there is a update on the MP Trilogy Disc. Will there be any Probs when i install it with my Homebrew Channel/Backup Launcher 0.3 Gamma? I want to be on the safe side after reading Nintendos newest Update News.

Any way to get it past this with a USB loader?
I have the ISO on an external HD.... I have NeoGamma R7... but what settings?

I actually don't understand the whole Alternate .dol thing... anyone care to point me in the right direction?

Got it to work using USB Loader and Alt.dol using NeoGamma... you have to set it to use "Disc" .DOL...and then select the game you want it to boot... 1,2,etc...
It worked on Metroid 1... haven't tried the others...

So, this might be a really dumb question but, If I go and buy MP:T will I still have to do the alt. dol thing? Even if I bought it, I'd still have to run it thru Neogamma to avoid the update but, I'm wondering if an official copy of the game wouldn't just kind of sort itself out.

metroid prime 3 of the trilogy isn't play for me only the prime 1 and 2 plays with this way have any one play the prime 3?
or is there an other way?

Using alt dol worked for me, but when the actual game starts, its switches to 480i. I tried changing the region settings in Neogamma to force 480p, but it does the same thing.
