Hacking Prevent Wii Partition from formatting

I have a 500 gb external Seagate drive. I have it partitioned into two partititons one for windows and the other for the Wii. I connect the drive to a CPU to do transfers occasionally and everytime windows detects the drive it immediately asks to format the unknown Wii partition. What I was wondering is there a way to block or protect windows from wanting to format the Wii partition?

I assume it's WBFS. Windows asks if you want to format it because it doesn't recognize it, just tell it not to.

You could switch to FAT. Every good USB-Loader supports FAT by now.

Fat is cool. Btw i lost 60 pound in the last year pm me if you wanna know how. (and this is not publicity its real).hahahahaahahahaahahahaahahahahah. Fat32 is the way to go I cant tell people enough

you could try to set the partition type to something else
to get windows to leave it alone

i'd try
16 Hidden FAT16
17 Hidden HPFS/NTFS
da Non-FS data
