just install it over the top of .29 that's what I did and went perfectly

Do u have bootmii as boot2? I dont so preloader is an alternative, cant brick this wii its no mine for the kids you know. and would i use the 4.1u hacks on wiibrew? im still on 4.1 so im guessing that would be correct if i preloader .30 rev4?
Edit- I Installed perfectly on 4.1 very nice lol thanks for this revision man u r a god lol

Just a reminder to everyone getting the "Could not read ticket" error during installation:

Install Preloader 0.29 first and then install Preloader 0.30 rev 4 over the top of it. It is an issue in the current installer that didn't exist in Crediar's installer.

Sorry for the bump, just want to make the interested parties aware that r-win has made a USB Loader GX forwarder that works in Preloader 0.30 rev 4.

You can download it here.

There's some debugging text in the top left corner that's not removable (since we both misplaced the source code).

sweet! I will test as soon as i get home. thanks!

The GX forwarder works from Autoboot only. You may get it to work once or twice from Installed File but it will most likely code dump.

phpgeek - any progress with [Region Free Wii Games] and/or [Force Disc Region to Wii Region] hacks for 4.2? Thanks in advance.

Is anybody still working on this? Really needs an R5 release or something. I gave up and rolled back to v.29 until fixed. Can't believe that USBDevice file loading was removed for preference of SDHC cards. Aren't USBLoaders more common now? Maybe not. I don't think one should have been traded off for the other though.

I am sure that phpgeek is still on the project.

Just wait and you´ll see.

Rev 5 will surely be the final release from what he said so be patient...

Thanks... I got it.

Now I have a feature request.

I found out the Startpatch 4.2's new feature. ( can see here ; http://wiibrew.org/wiki/StartPatch )

- Block Disc Updates - Blocks updates which have been embedded in Discs
- Block Online Updates - Prevents online updates being installed.

So, Startpatch has block features for disc updates and online updates.

As I know Preloader now only block disc updates.

Could you add the blocking online updates also?

Greetings.
