If this boots direct to HBC, people will use a more safer application if their is a more secure updated version with this than wait for bootmii which will obviously be a good but worth it wait till release....

This isn't bootmii, it has nothing to do with bootmii, and it is not an alternative to bootmii.

It might do some things that bootmii does, and you can do whatever you want with your wii, but avoid comparing this to bootmii. It. Has. Nothing. To. Do. With. It.

The only thing that pisses me off about crediar is that he explains nothing and then we get to deal with everyone when they ask confused questions, or when they think we have something to do with his stuff.

Like it? Great, use it. Don't like it? Don't use it. Either way, don't compare or associate it with our stuff or bother us about it.

It's amazing how immature people can act online. (No I'm not going at any one person, I'm going at EVERYONE) This is the internet, where everyone is free to express their opinion weather other people like it or not. But it seems that some people forget that and automatically start calling other people names and all that. marcan, everyone knows that you like nothing to do with piracy (along with the other 1% on this board. I could care less what people say but it is the truth, 99% of the members here are here to find out how to do everything on the Wii for without having to lift a finger or spend a penny.) But there is no need to bash him for his opinion and stance on these things. marcan may not do it, but guess what people, down the road SOMEONE will, you just have to learn to be patient. Which I can see is obviously hard for all of the 90% of the members here that are young teens and pre-teens. So can we please keep everything on topic and stop with the bashing, flaming, hating and everything that should have no place on a DISCUSSION board. These are the things that make the Wii scene truly the most pathetic ever... hmm so does this mean bootmii is not going to autopatch ioses on the fly? oh well, quit acting like it's such a big deal. it will probably still launch hbc from where you can launch the wad manager /anytitle deleter to fix your channel bricks or launch anyregion changer to fix the menu. as of right now it's still possible to install everything you need to do whatever you want with your wii. this only really matters in terms of updates or future wiis, on which it might not even be possible to install bootmii. i, for one, will reserve judgement until i can see what it can do. although it would seem that less features should mean an earlier release, not later... i think most people would be happy with the functionality shown in the youtube video, after all, you're probably not going to brick your wii without already having the homebrew channel (unless you have a modchip).

back on topic: plz tell us more about the development of this preloader.
btw: to whoever said the hbc phones home too, i would prefer if it didn't do it automatically, just make an update menu option. that way you don't get annoying update messages before you're ready to update, and you don't have to wait when you do want to update.

I don't really understand, why people feels it's necessary to shit on marcan for having an opinion, since he is one of the reasons the system is open enough for others to make the launcher and such. Unless they are really nintendo's people trying to piss him off to get him to stop developement, it's not like m$ and others haven't used that tactic. bootmii, since it's earlier on in the boot process that the preloader, it has way less chance of getting fuck'd up, so I'd rather have that, but I'd settle for the preloader until bootmii is done. safer is always better.

I'm sure I'll get flamed for not bashing marcan as well, oh well, a-holes will be a-holes.

So anyone manage to get a 3.2u compatible version of Preloader? Because personally, I could care less if I ever use BootMii... It sounds like a big dud to me. And first and foremost... Marcan, don't release the source to your BootMii unless you plan to see it modified and renamed BootFrii. I have done exactly what I came to do with a Wii and now all the rest is just the icing on the cake. Furthermore, Marcan.. why don't you close your account now?! We all know that your a closet pirate.
