    What exaclty am I going to notice if I turn it on and is it worth it?

    It simply lowers the brightness when the screen is dark to save power. It's barely noticeable and worth it because it increases battery life about 10% or so.

    What do you mean when the screen is dark it lowers brightness? It seems like it'd be harder to see that way...

    It's kinda like Dynamic Contrast for tellies, but it makes the screen darker when the screen has more dark elements in it. I've heard it greatly increases battery life. Even Ninty encourages the usage of it.

    It makes menus kind of yellowish, and I lose lots of image info when using it.
