Erm...meanwhile, I'm downgrading back to 404t4. On my end, it really needs those later changes (4.0.5 has the same issues as the 4.0.4 versions I've tested up to 4.0.4t4).

I don't mind waiting a version providing I have one that works. :)

...and pretty much while I'm saying it, my wii crashes while loading dios mios.

...literally (the cord of my gamecube controller got looped behind my wii, causing me to drag the entire thing off the table. :shy: )

Luckily, no real damage done. but it'll take a while before I can laugh at this situation.

Can we get the ability or option to hide items in the slide menus?

Example, say I don't use gamecube games or load my wii games by other means. I would like the shortcuts in the slide menu to hide or disappear. Maybe a toggle option? I like the many options but I'd like to limit excatly where they go without any confusion for them or my wife.

Yes, I think it can be an idea

postLoader 4.0.6

* now using the open source stub by fix/megazig. Old stub.bin can be removed from /ploader folder
* Fixed a dump with neek2o diconfig.bin file.
* devolution: postloader support now creation/managment of up 8 card images, per game selecatable. memcard.bin, memcard1.bin....memcard7.bin (also _jap equivalent)
* Changed a bit the selection screen
* some code clean

I just tested .6 and all worked well, except launching channels in neek20 mode!!
I'm using rev90 and I think it used to work before.
Now when I launch WW in neek2o find myself in "nand1" not in "pln2o"
maybe this is related to rev90 or to latest changes in 4.0.6 I'm really not sure.

From what I heard from IRC Overjoy is planning to make WW launching vis neek2o mode possible starting rev90+, this way pln2o nand/priiloader and neekbooter will no longer be required.
Some people used this method successfully in wiiflow but could not return to real nand upon exit.

@[member='stfour'], any plans to change neek2o booter method. ofc when new uneek2o is stable enough and officially out?

the new stub method is still .... working fine :)

Abz, some thing are changing in neek2o, it is too early start fixing. When Overjoy will be ready I will try to sync as fast as I can. ;)

speaking of neek2o, im getting a blackscreen/freeze with the newer postLoader revs (0.5 - 0.7) when trying to boot from real NAND into uneek2o with postLoader set as autoboot on emulated NAND (neek works when just booting to sys menu w/o postloader).
im 99% sure it's not my set-up, as everything works when reverting to 0.4

@[member='stfour'], thanks for taking the time to make such an awesome universal wii everything loader =D

This may be a dumb question but what does this do and can it be installed with priiloader installed without bricking.

I'll just leave this here:
It's meant to be a general all-round homebrew loader, game loader, emulator launcher(it can launch roms directly from postloader(it calls seperate emulator dols), with covers and such), and system menu like application. It won't be the best at any of them, but it has plenty of features.

tldr: it's like the Homebrew Channel, but with more features, and is open source.

The first page and post would've also told you that, though it's in need of an overhaul at this point(hint hint, stfour. ;))..

In addition: if you already have priiloader installed, then the chances of bricking are as close to zero as they can be.

...but you might want to check in what can possibly create a brick. Installing priiloader has a small chance because it overwrites the system menu (the chance is limited pretty much to if you lose power during install). Using priiloader to load something else: pretty much nothing.

I've got some news on that: Etheboss, nimm and myself (probably Overjoy and Fix as well) did some testings on new revisions. Latest version of neek2o is now rev92 (source). It has some clear fixes for games like PoP: Rival swords, Tintin and Driver: San Francisco (that is on top of what I already mentioned here.

Overjoy is on vacation as of today, so the project isn't going to change much in the upcoming time, But it works pretty good from what I've experienced. :)
(you'll probably have to compile everything yourself through the checkout, though...I only notice now it's not put up with the downloads).

...but there is one thing I have to mention: Driver: San Fransisco has some pretty unique AP, which causes eternal loading at the end of the tutorial level. Overjoy managed to fix that...if you run the game through the disc channel. In postloader (4.0.7), it's still there. This apparently has to do with how postloader launches the specific game, so I thought I'd best mention it. :)
small edit: Tintin, which has somewhat the same AP to it - in any case the same fix - seems to have the same issue in postloader. So for those games, it's probably best to use the disc channel.

Yup I tested rev92 today and launched wiiware via neek2o,
the beauty here is that no extra setting is required just the uneek2o nand
the only problem I got is that when you exit the game you find yourself in neek system menu not real nand, but I guess this can be fixed via a workaround similar to neekbooter which in combination the stub might get us back to PL or WF on real nand.
I deleted pln2o nand since the newer neek2o (90+) don't support nandpath.bin anymore, but the newer method will become the standard in no time, imho.
stfour, maybe you can add a test for rev92, keeping the old way for old neek2o users (maybe having option neek2o 90+ or 89-)
Have a nice day
Abz
