So it isn't opening huh? It should still open regardless of whether your files are named correctly. So if it's not opening I'm betting it's your antivirus. Since it's a console application virus scanners get really touchy about them and often block them. On my computer it had to scan the program every single time I ran it even while building it in Visual studio until I finally created an exception for it in my virus scanner.

I think so, but the thing asked me for a .dll file, i.e. vcruntime140.dll, and I put it in the correct location, but after that it was Star Wars: Return of the Error Message, pretty much.

Hmm I honestly do not know. Did you try creating an exception for it in your virus scanner?

Other than that maybe make sure you have the latest version of .NET framework... Although I'm pretty sure that doesn't matter for console apps.

If you have visual studio or Codeblocks, you can copy the source file I provided on GitHub (.cpp file) and then build it in either Codeblocks or visual studio and it'll literally "build it" from scratch using your computer.

That's all I can really suggest. It's the most basic a program could be, it shouldn't require anything fancy at all.

Edit: based on a quick Google search I guess you need to install Microsoft visual C++ redistributable.

These are a series of codes designed to allow the user to spawn arbitrary objects at amy location in Zelda: Breath of the Wild for Wii U. Run in JGecko U with the CosmoCortney codehandler. See https://gbatemp.net/threads/jgecko-u-setup-guide.426292/ for details on JGecko U.

The Accio Master Code should be switched on after you have spawned in the world (so after loading your game, or appearing in the Shrine of Resurrection if it's a new game) and should always be left on. Then, either run a script code from below, or go to http://wild.chadsoft.co.uk/accio.html for a little interface to make your own. When a script code is run, the master code will spawn the objects from the script code. You can only run one script code at once. You should disable a script code before running another one, or nothing will happen. You can also re-run scripts by turning them off, then on again, in JGecko U's code interface. (Please note that you must click "Send codes" after disabling or enabling a script for the game to notice the change). The Accio Master Code has no need to be disabled at any point.

This code also supports manual spawning if you're an advanced user or a hipster. Enter an ASCII string name (in hex) at 10024060 and then poke a quantity at 10024038, and the code will spawn it without any need of scripts. I don't know why anyone would do this though, since scripts are way easier.

I think so, but the thing asked me for a .dll file, i.e. vcruntime140.dll, and I put it in the correct location, but after that it was Star Wars: Return of the Error Message, pretty much.

Based on that dll file name, your computer is missing the 2015 C++ runtime files. You need to download and install the Redistributable This one may work for you.

Also make sure you have the latest version of my pointer follower. I fixed an issue last time that made some pointers be considered invalid and therefore removed from the list.

(I learned that the Hex character 0x1A signifies the end of a file, so any address with a 0x1A in it was read as the end of the file and made the pointer invalid lol)

I tested it on every single dump i have, and I have 1 from every update. None of them worked on any of them.

The pointer i gave you points to link's currently equipped weapon name. So it won't always be the first weapon on the list of course.

You will probably learn the hard way that you cannot find pointers for anything inventory related. In this game, items can apparently be loaded in any random order, so you will always end up with 0 pointers, or with pointers that do not stay consistent.

Both me and CosmoCortney confirmed this when we both tried to find pointers for arrows, so im fairly confident it wasn't just me making a mistake.

However, i might be able to save you some time again, depending on what you're trying to do. I do know how you can find pointers to all of the weapons,shields,arrows,bows in the exact order that they are displayed on screen, so you could easily find the first weapon.

Basically.. the address of 43F0C134 and every 4Bytes after it contain the pointers to your inventory items in the order that they appear. They are overwritten everytime you switch Quick Menu's. If my memory and my math is correct, the address of 43F0C0C8 contains an integer that determines which Pointers are currently loaded. For example if it was 3 i think thats arrows, 1 is like shields or something..
I wrote an assembly code to compare that address to 3, meaning the arrow pointers were loaded, then when those pointers were displayed, my assembly code copied them over to another location in memory in order to write 999 to the arrow quantity forever even when the pointers don't exist anymore.

Im guessing you haven't turned into an assembly wizard yet, so if you do decide you want to use this method to obtain the details of the players first weapon, i could maybe find some time eventually to write you an assembly code that grabs whatever data you need from the players weapon and stores it somewhere else. Then you can write a code based around the data that is stored in a known location.

In other words, I write an assembly code to grab the players weapon data, and store it Somewhere in the 0x13000000 range. Then you can write whatever codes you want by just using the values in the 13000000 address to write your code.

You can then select any or all of the results and right click on them, and click Poke. You can then change the value of those addresses you've selected to whatever you want. If something happens in the game related to what you were searching for, then figure out exactly which address is responsible by selecting one at a time.

Pointers are used for finding addresses without having to run a search. They are not really required unless creating a code. And sometimes addresses never change so a pointer isn't needed at all. The only way to know if the addresses stay the same is to restart the Wii and see if the next time you load up the game, the address still contains the value you wanted

I really think just installing the Visual C++ Resdistributable package will fix the issue. Alternatively you could use Codeblocks to create a C++ project and then just copy and paste my code provided on GitHub to build your own copy of my program.

Beside the search button, you can see the Select Full Range button. If you press it and look at the second range on the list, that is the range you can safely search between without crashing the game.
