Good luck in your research with that kind of code; maybe, you'll have better luck than I did trying to find a way to revisit the Divine Beasts interiors once they're completed.

That's where my new idea comes in... what if we could reset the flag that says the terminal is activated, thus you can't go back to those dungeons?

i suppose thats one way to do it. i dont know how youd find the flag without saving and reloading the game before and after, and just hoping that it stays constant somewhere in memory.

it may be possible if we find some sort of table that contains all of the Fast travel Markers on the map, and also contains whether theyve been activated or not,
maybe near this table (if it exists) we could reactivate the Fast Travels that are for the divine Beasts.

Theres not much i can do to help since ive beaten the game already and dont really want to start a new game in fear of it deleting my save files.

but if i remember to sometime, i could try looking for some sort of "table" the next time i find a shrine.

(i have 110 shrines so theyre hard to come by now adays)

Hopefully quest flags follow a similar structure :P

I see... well, I'd appreciate that when you get the chance. As for the "Spawning Shooting Stars at will", if it can be controlled somehow, would it be possible to do it like lightning bolts, have them fly at random locations or nearby Link in a circle?

Or how about putting a stamp/Pin somewhere and having the star fall at that location?

Yes it would be possible. However it's different from lightning because there can be multiple stars at once. Lightning has only one set of coordinates because there can only be one lightning strike at a time. So I somehow have to find the coordinates for the stars, but it's really hard to search for them because I can't really manipulate them at will like with map pins. At the stage I'm at, i have to either wait for RNG to spawn a star for me, or I can activate my weird test code that makes like 50 stars spawn, which will be hard to keep track of one stars coordinates, and even if I find the area, there'll be 50 stars flying through the sky who's coordinates are changing too so I'll never be able to find which coordinates are which.

Nothing is ever easy.

There can be multiple shooting stars, and outside of manipulating the stars like you did? I've only seen like one star fall at a time in the night sky while playing the game.

Hope it isn't against the forum rules, so here it is from 0x10000000 to 0x4C8A0000.

I don't believe the game will ever spawn more than one star intentionally, but it can definitely handle more than one star at a time

I see... I don't think it's just me, but I suppose that too many stars via your unstable manipulation method can crash the game?

its never crashed on me yet but ive had so many stars spawn at once that 0 frames would pass anymore, so i kept mashing my Current Time Changing code to change the time to like 5pm because stars arent really allowed to exist outside of the time 10pm-3am

idk if that was a known fact but i was able to prove it.
Any codes that display the area you're in for BOTW?

I dont believe anyones found any sort of code related to location other than Link's coordinates

How exactly do i use all of these codes on my wii u? And what version of the game is this for? USA?

These codes are for version 1.1.1

to use codes, i highly recommend you read the first page of this forum, but i think its slightly outdated-ish.

first download java SDK onto your computer: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8-downloads-2133151.html

once installed download Jgecko: https://github.com/BullyWiiPlaza/JGeckoU
-You only need the Jgecko u.jar file

open up Jgecko, go to the External Tools tab, click the TCPGecko Installer button, itll download a RAR file, (you'll need winrar,7zip or Winzip to extract it) while youre in JGecko you should also go to the Miscellaneous tab and click Update Game Titles. after that,
extract the TCPgecko folder onto your SD Card, but create a folder called wiiu first, and then another called apps on your sd card. place the apps folder inside the wiiu folder. then place the TCPgecko folder inside of the apps folder.

once thats ready, put it in your wii u, go to the internet browser and go to loadiine.ovh/

once it loads you'll see a drop menu and in it should say Homebrew Launcher 1.3. - if it does not say that, change it via the drop down menu to be that option.

press submit, your screen will go black and then white and should load up the homebrew launcher, which is blue. you should see the TCPgecko file there if you placed it correctly on your sd card, click it, and then press load.

your screen will go black and then a black screen with white text will load prompting you to press either A or X to install one of the TCPGecko's, you need to press X to install with CosmoCortney's codehandler.

if all goes well, you'll be brought to the wii u menu after, now you can load up your game like normal.

Now you'll need to know your wii's IP address, there are many ways but the simplest i find is just to download an IP scanner on your computer.

https://www.advanced-ip-scanner.com/

This one works fine, run a scan and hopefully you'll see one of the IP's show Nintendo inc. or something similar to this with an IP next to it.

Thats your wii's ip, write it down or note it down somewhere so you dont forget it.

Now open Jgecko again if it isnt still open. Uncheck the Auto-Connect box, and type in you wii's IP address in the bar, when done, press connect and it should show the title of your game on the top bar of Jgecko if it connected fine. then make sure youre in the codes section of jgecko, click add a code, paste just the Hexadecimal part of the codes, (so just the numbers/letters) and title it whatever you want, and press okay. do this for all the codes you want. make sure the codes you want are checked off if you want to turn it on, and press send codes. it should say Codes Sent Successfully if it all went good.

Any codes that display the area you're in for BOTW?

Well, I don't mean to be rude, guy, but uh, like Panda said... you've got a map at the Pause menu that tells you where you are at any point in the game, so learn to use it and you'll be getting where you need to go in no time. Kinda pointless to make a code for something like that if a map already exists, right?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

But how do we know if the map is lying to us?

For this, all I have to say is: You think the game devs would deceive us about our location? How could a map lie to you about where you are? Maybe I missed the joke, if it is one.

Anyone working on freezing the pop timer for octo baloons?
ive literally never ever used an octoballoon.. but im sure its not too hard to find.

timers are stored as floats in measurements of 30 units = 1 second.

so in other words if a timer lasts 5 minutes, thats 5 * 60 secondss = 300 seconds * 30units/second = 9000 which is 460CA000 as a float.

so figure out roughly how much time they last, and make an under estimate and an over estimate and do a Specific - Between search for your under estimate and over estimate, then after your initial search, just switch to Unknown - Less than, let time run a bit, and continue hitting less than over and over to widdle down your results.

Thats how i would do it.

I can't even search from 40000000 to 41000000 without running out of RAM on JGecko U, don't know why as with Gecko.NET I could search Wii's mem2 90000000 to 93400000 with no memory issues

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.
