It would be quite useful to be able to enable internal gyro when controllers are attached.
It would help both in case of gyro lacking controllers such as the usbc gripcontrollers (ex: ipega and Dobe ones) or for the demonxmachina splitpadpro joycons
and in case of joycons with broken gyroscope.

What about a file browser with compression options, nxshell is a good browser, but I'm on an ipatched unit and I try not to have to reboot pegascape. I'd like to compress save backups so I could transfer through goldleaf, which doesn't like folders but works with individual files.

there is something to connect xbox controller/ ps4 or one bluethooth controller atleast, witout an external dongle ?
it will be possible to do ? because i dont know if the problem is locked bluethooth compatibility, or some hardware stuff that we cant do a lot for

My suggestion is a homebrew app that can copy bluetooth keys off of controlers. For example, you sync your controllers in Sysnand and have an app on Emunand that copies the bluetooth key from the controller and enters it into Emunand. That way we can have our controllers automatically sync on both Sysnand and Emunand without needing to make a whole new Emunand everytime you need to sync your controller to another device. (As of now, yoou can sync all your controllers to Sysnand, make an Emunand, and the controllers automatically work between both nands, but if you use your controllers on another device such as another switch, phone, pc, etc. you have to re-sync the controllers to either Sysnand or Emunand, but not both.

Even if we could copy the bluetooth keys on a PC or Phone and re-write them back to the controllers could work as well

Sysmodule that will convert gyro input to right/left stick, mostly for implementing gyro aiming in games that are not supporting it like RE4.

The combination of the two would be dope!
Being able to select gyro input source or use it as another analog input would be the best, imagine binding the right and left joycon gyro to different things!
This makes for a better suggestion than mine.

I'd love a simple NSP renamer, producing filenames such as:

[name] [dlc name] [base/upd/dlc][revision][titleID][fw required]
Captain Toad Treasure Tracker [BASE][v1.0.0][01009BF0072D4000][FW4.0.0]

I've found XCI Explorer does an excellent job pulling the information out for me to apply manually but it's a slog.
Switch Backup Manager is half alright but doesn't reveal many game revision numbers.
Advanced Renamer is a great tool but doesn't help me extract information like game revision and title ID.

Basically, I'd like XCI Explorer's functionality in batch renaming form!

Any possible way to have the Switch pair with Wiimotes by Bluetooth? Perhaps it's a stretch since as far as I know I'm unaware of the intricacies of such a task.

i inform everyone that on github is avaliable a sys-con module tha makes that almost possibile. Get in there and help the community to develop this thing faster! it will be a good solution to the all drifting gate.

Is there any homebrew apps that emulate joycons as a touch screen overlay?

It would be nice if you misplaced joycons you could use some touch screen controllers to play games like sword and shield. Would make the original switch console pocketable too.

For anyone who's looking on something to work on, a cool uLaunch custom entry manager would be a good idea.
I don't have time to work on another tool since I already have much work with the project itself, but a PC tool which allowed you (by scanning your SD in search of RetroArch cores or homebrew NROs, for instance) to create custom forwarders, mainly because custom, non-NSP ROM forwarders for RetroArch would be a really good idea ;)

If uLaunch wasn't that demanding (and if I had more time) I would work on it myself

I wish there was a way to block internet (or airplane mode) with a password. So my child cannot accidentaly activate an internet connection while using "not official" software.
Maybe in a broader sense ... parental control

thanks

I would like a retroarch emulator frontend, as I have on android gpdxd ArcBrowser, I paid 10€ for it on playstore, and I don't regret it, if a similar thing is done on switch, I would be happy

Why a frontend?
Simply the ability to scrapper the boxarts, launch a rom and when you leave the game, you return exactly where you were before you started the game, which is not the case of retroarch, try to play a secret of mana and then secret of evermore for example, arranged in alphabetical order, you are good to scroll through all the systems in your possession, then scroll 500roms, to play a rom placed just below the one previously launched
I hope I'll be understood.
Exemple
Arcbrowser support

That's what I said in December 2018... I wanted Arcbrowser ( PAGE 7 )
And now what? I have it.

An app to activate auto-click, like press a button combination (for example, capture button twice) and at the same time press another button (for example a) and when I hold that button, it will make the console think that I am spamming the button extremely fast, but actually I am holding it (so I double tap the capture button, hold a at the same time, release the capture button. A is being held, but the console thinks I am spamming it. Example: Shovel Knight repeatedly yeets a coin. Or Sonic just charges his spin dash almost instantly. Or Mario gets out of the 20 foot tall quicksand in 2 seconds. Something like that.) And when I release the button, the spamming stops. I hold the button again, it starts again. Then I press the hotkey (cap x 2) and while holding it I press the b button for example, now the spam is activated on the b button, but isn't deactivated on the a button. The same thing but with one of the buttons, and the spam is removed on the button (now when I hold a, the switch knows that I hold it).

Sorry for this being so long, and probably some repeating, cuz I am very tired now.

And I made a video, at 11 pm, on my phone, with flipaclip, to make the concept easier to understand:

Jazz² Resurrection port would be awesome , Jazz² Resurrection is an open source reimplementation of jazzjack rabbit 2
