Looks shit and looks too impractical. Like something from the 90's that never took off because it was shit.

Like the Virtual Boy?

The cameras are the rounded thing on both side.
If you look closer, you can see there are a hole, and the "camera button" can rotate to face either front or back.
(but it's so tiny, the camera can't even capture an image with that size)

Photoshopped or not, it's a nice , plausible concept. I'd rather wait a few more months and see what it really will look like when it'll be reviled.
Those guys analyzing the little microscopic details on the picture to prove it's fake are pathetic.
It's an interesting concept for a prototype never the less.
I'll just wait and see.
This isn't from nintendo. That's what everybody means when they say "fake".

These images are computer-generated, and while they are amazing and the device depicted is interesting in all sorts of ways, they don't reflect anything official. This was not made by nintendo and does not reflect anything from, by, for, at, or copulating with nintendo.

And yes, the image seems to depict anti-aliasing.being able to anti-alias the DS's screen indicates that device has a lot of power, in order to scale to 2x and then filter down each frame. If it's not done purely in the video hardware a device like that might be powerful enough to do N64. Man, if he had posted a shot of it doing an N64 game people would have freaked.

And, for another "fake" thing :
I really don't like the last few shots with the Augmented Reality.

If the next gen need to prove it can render 3D over the real world, there will never be only a non textured cylinder or 3 poor little pyramid.
They would show the power it really has by printing better models. At least that what I think.

You can tell its fake if you lok for the signs, but some of the things people are saying is brilliant!

Have you had a look at your DSi or camera-phone, the hole in the camera is

i wasnt gonna buy a 3ds, but if thats real, im down.

Same.

I'm loving this model, even if it's not real.

My only concerns are:

1. Triggers. The things on the back look very hard to press.
2. Weight. When it's open (Wide-screen) it looks like the top out weighs the bottom by a lot. I'm sure they would make it comfortable to use though.
3. When in the DS mode (Vertical), it looks like it would be uneasy to play because the bottom screen is above the controls.

Also, what the hell is that scanning crap? It's awesome, but I don't get how it works.
