If it's real I would like one

L and R button seems analogic, but not with an easy access.
Rotating the camera is a nice idea.

Too bad, I don't like the idea of having the LCD screen without scratch protection while in a bag or pocket. I hope there will be a case.

unfortunately, either it's an old prototype, or it's not nintendo.
Look, the screws are not Triwing !

It's a nice idea for a mock up.
It shows how it's possible to play DS games on one screen ( with customizable space in between ) and although when closed looks like an iPhone, you still get all the functionality of full games system d-pad and analog controllers.
It looks pretty much like what I was imagining myself, minus the rotating screen, that's genius !
Imagine this baby as an early prototype, and think about it what it could be like as a slick Nintendo branded finished handled !
Despite some proportion issues ( like then screen being too wide compared to the d-pad position ) it looks great, and if Nintendo would come up with something like that I'll be extremely happy.
LOL at all this guys screaming fake !
Of course it is, is just a concept...........and LOL @ can't be a DS because it's not dual screen.......I wish Firefox had something like adblock to filter stupid useless posts..... like crapbock..

Design is really ugly. If that was real, I really hope the huge ass screen wont be on top in the open like that. I would want a flip lid like the DS Lite and Phat so it doesn't get scratched.

Also, are those the L & R buttons on the back? If so, that's interesting. Very interesting.

And as Costello pointed out, it shows an SD slot, and another type of slot. Looks like the game carts will be extremely thin, which I doubt if they are going to hold much more memory.

The whole thing exists, it looks solid to me but...

Look at that picture to see its complete fakeness, the "LCD Screen" is just black plastic or something, no LCD screen looks like that when off, or on for that matter
You don't even know what type of device you're talking about, do you?
This is supposed to be a device that will be using all new technology for it's screen in order to display 3D. So maybe, JUST MAYBE, maybe it'll look different from other screens.
Triple-fucking-duh.

But yes, this device does not exist, these pictures are mostly 3D renders.
As somebody pointed out, in one of the shots two of the magazines are clipping, and you can tell some of the edges aren't completely rounded. Also if you look at the above shot, the pages of the magazine the device is resting on appear to be slightly warped.... while the cover is still perfectly flat as if it had never been read. You can also see that the edges of the pages are just barely different colors, so it seems if that was real some of the pages would have parts of them missing, since they bend upwards into oblivion. Also multiple IRL light sources would not create a hard shadow like those books have. I do 3D as a hobby, I know what sort of common mistakes to look for, and many other people here have been playing games long enough to notice common modeling/rendering errors as well.

Ah, so these have now been proven to be fake.

I'm glad anyway that wasn't the 3DS but it would have been cool to get a leak so early.

The one thing I liked from this mockup were it's L and R buttons. I don't like it how the DS/DSi shoulder buttons are so clicky; I know handheld buttons are supposed to be clicky (or that's what I've heard) but I'm more used to the softer console controller buttons.

That better only be a prototype, I can't imagine something looking like that being very successful in the handheld gaming market.

Doubt it. Design is horrible.
How are you supposed to play with the control pad positioned there?

It does actually look good (and I know it's not real), but I don't think it would look like that anyway.

So wait, where is it confirmed it's fake? Just people making accusations that it's shopped (where it looks like it is)...>_> is there any REAL confirmation and not just an opinion?
