I just recently injected a handful of gamecube games that I’d like to play in the main room of my house instead of the game room. However whenever I launch the channel I’m directed to use a Wii remote and sensor bar to start the game. Is it possible to skip this screen so I can just move the system itself and not have to worry about the sensor bar nonsense

Just press no to just use the gamepad. To use the Pro Controllers, you do need a wiimote to just select the option.

I was hoping I could skip needing thr wiimote to select the option. That’s unfortunate but not a huge problem

Thank you !

The pro controller

I don’t care about the gamepad at all ha
Ah! Yeah, you'll need a wiimote. You could get the cheapest one from Amazon. I did the same thing, got one for $10 off Amazon just to select that one option lol and it has worked. You can also get the cheapest sensor bar for the Wii or Wii U since they both share the same one.

I have a Wiimote already. I guess I’ll just buy a second sensor bar for that room so I can be lazy and not move this one around

Thanks for the input/help! I thought I might have been missing something obvious

You're welcome! I see on Amazon that are some for less than $10, just find a good review one and you're good!

This obviously isnt the answer you want - but if you use the Nintendont forwarder, it supports both Gamepad and Pro Controller on it's own without needing to use the Wii Remote to select any options, it just boots straight into the emulator's menu. You can also take this a step further and edit your own forwarder's based off of Nintendont so it retains that control, but also auto-boots into a game using it. But from what I saw I believe you have individual injects for each of your games so this answer may just be an inconvenience rather than a fix atp.

Hmm I’m using forwarders currently but maybe I set them up incorrectly. That is great to know!

I will try to remake them. It’s not a huge hassle making injects so it’s not really an iconvience

I appreciate the advice!

Piggybacking off this thread to ask, is this the same case for using GameCube controllers? That is to say, if I want to launch the GameCube injections (I'm using the teconmoon wiivc injector) without using the Wii Remote and then play using the GameCube controllers with an adapter, is that not possible? Or can it be launched using the Wii U gamepad and then played with the GameCube controller instead?

you can always start gc injects with wiiu gamepad and then take it ouf of wiiu range and use whatever controller you want.
