Homebrew possible to build a new youtube app?

I was curious if it's possible to make a homebrew youtube app, so it can play better quality than the original?

FYI - to be give more info, a homebrew youtube app that works on the O3DS and plays at least 360p.
Anything would be better than drunk Picasso 240p videos

Technically you could. Nobody's gotten homebrew video playback quite right yet though.

Yes, but on a very rare and huge size format!... Other issue is talking about streaming video!

The 3ds screen is 240 pixels high. Playing more than 240p would require a magician.

I think he means highly compressed 240p video. If it wasn't so compressed it would look alright.

Doesn't have much use on N3DS, O3DS maybe. However, I don't know if it the O3DS can handle as much bitrate; it might not be possible to make a YouTube app that's significantly better.
