Hacking possible bricking?

hi there im new here and really need you guys help.
heres my story abit, i bought my wii from japan used it in the uk, i used the wii free loader jap version and played mario kart online with it, after the update where nintendo gave me a big *F U!* the wii did not read any disks anymore and im saying any even the japanese version of the games, and now im japan and brought my wii, it still doesnt work, i was wondering is there any way to fix it? since it cant read any disks the zelda hack wont work i think.
i dont think the problem is the cd reader since it actually does it read the disc it just doesnt allow me to play, the message its all in jap so i cant understand it yet.
but im hoping that some 1 in these boards know how to fix this.

quick edit:
when i put the disc in, the disc is read, but then it shows a black screen with a message and i have to turn OFF my wii and it does not let me go back to the menu
btw the mario kart was uk version

Yes, the Bannerbonb mod will work, assuming you havent already bricked your Wii.
