Well basically, I kinda have a big house and my Router has a bad signal, anyway It works but can lag online, So i was wondering if it could be possible if someone made an application that (runs in the background) connected your Wii to your DS via Ad-Hoc (Program on Wii and ds) and then on the Ds (Obviously homebrew enabled ds + wii) it would connect to your router normally, so basically the DS In the middle is the repeater, Recieves and sends data from the router and the Wii, this could extend the range by bout 10-15 metres?

From what I know the Nds has 4mb ram.

Application would take like half a meg ram, my router's wireless max speed is 2mbps, and thats good enough if my wii was closer.

Problem(s):
Might not be fast enough for online play, but then could use for internet channel.

I know the ds can support like 8 people playing at a time through ad-hoc? Maybe in future versions of the program could connect to multiple wii's in a house and link to the router (probs much slower internet though?)

Could my Idea be lame or lamer?

Allz you need is paper, alunimum foil, glue (tape works better), a way to print, and sissors

1. Print this image

windsurfer.jpg

2.Cut out the rectangle and cut where the lines are in the middle

3.cut the round thing out and cut out the two +

4. put aluminum foil on the rectangle also cutting where the lines are.

5. take the round thing with the work windsurfer and put the tabs in the slits in the rectangle like the picture.

6. enjoy high signals!!!!

Well seeing as how you are a rich bastard with a big house; why dont you just buy a long ethernet cable and a 2nd router? It would be a lot less complicated then what you proposed.

Does that aluminum thing actually work? Looks kinda sketchy lawl. I've also heard of replacement firmwares for certain routers which amplify the signal....but those have a tendency to fry the router.

i don't need to use it*
but yeah it does work! and it will help send better wireless waves to your devices, especially if they are LONG RANGE

and obviously your router is usually (hidden) so bang these surfers on it*

Theres many decent routers, hopefull you have a good broadband aswell, but netgear, d-link, linksys etc.

they need to have a strong line up on the launch titles too. I think they should move metroid prime 4 to the next console because by now it has been quite a while and there's no release date scheduled yet

well as far as metroid prime 4 is concerned, the next system probably is similar enough to the current gen they can probably easily just slap it onto a next gen cart and call it good :P
