does CFG split the large files for you so that they will fit on fat32. What other programs are out there that can splitt large wii games so that you can put them on a fat 32 formated drive. thanks for any help.

Wow, I must be stupid as I still use USB Loader GX with zero issues. Or does that make me smart?

Trolling aside, back to the OP: I hooked up a 1TB WD My Book drive to the Wii before WD messed things up with the non-removable virtual-CD firmware. It's setup with two primary partitions; first one a 500GB fat32 and the second a 500GB WBFS. So far been running fine with no hitches. Never got corrupted and still plenty of capacity left on both partitions for more movies and games

I have a 500GB Western Digital MyPassport Elite hard drive, split into two partitions; 100GB is WBFS for my Wii games, and the rest (~380GB I think?) formatted in NTFS for normal backup usage.

I have a 1 TB drive split into 3 partitions. One is a WBFS (250GB), one is NTFS (745GB), and the last is FAT32 (5GB).

...and I'm glad to see that FAT32 is starting to kick in since previous polls.

EDIT: then again, there is also more of a need for larger size files (wiimc and wiisx make ppl want to put more stuff on their non-WBFS drive). I guess that may have caused some people to change.

what is exfat and how can i format a 2tb wd hard drive to fat32, And is it safe to formate a 2tb hard drive to fat32. Thanks for any help with this. has anyone had any problems with the bigger hard drives?
