So, i bought a google play gift card yesterday, and i am wondering if i should get TiBu pro. i have had some accidental losses of data recently, and the pro version seems to be great (plus i support the dev). should i get it?

It is backup software for android. it requires root, and basically restores everything. the pro version has encryption, an option to restore from a nandroid backup. (a backup of the entire system and data etc.) it has auto-upload to the cloud too. The nandroid restore is a good thing when switching custom roms, because if you don't wipe the data part, the phone might bootloop.

the pro version key doesn't for me when pirated, and i want to support the tibu team

    Or, I also heard that if you use flash memory, it can act as more "RAM" at least windows tell me when I stick a flash drive into it.
