You can use .cias with gateway.
And you can convert the .cia to .3ds yourself

Pokemon sun has the distribute countdown for me. So, im trying to import the seed. DIrections say to put the seed into SD/FBI/SEED but where location to place the seed?

That's the right place to put the .dat file, in sd root/fbi/seed.

Question on how to read these. Looking for Happiny on Route 1. I see it's a 5% encounter rate and I know what patches of grass. What I don't get is the slots. Say I found a Pichu, there's no slot that has both Pichu and Happiny, so I know that was not the right slot. How does the game determine slots? Do I need to leave and re-enter the area, does it change after each battle?

Interested in the answer too, plus : how do you know which table is which area in the game ? thank you
