Recently installed ver 3.0.0 and the New Uniform DLC, and already completed the main story before installing the DLC, but upon booting up the DLC prompt (phonecall) won't appear. I've opened and closed the game multiple times, but nothing happens. I've claimed the new uniforms and I can use all of the new clothing no problem. I've also tried reinstalling all the files, including the base game, but nothing happens (although save file stays intact). Unsure of the issue; please help?

Photos of my Switch (ver 16.1.0).

Forgot to clarify; I can't even start Teal Mask. A while back I installed 2.0.0, couldn't access Teal Mask but could get the uniforms, and forgot about it until Indigo Disk released. I recently updated to 3.0.0 and the Teal Mask prompt still won't appear.

After looking around some more, I think the problem might be the Switch version, but if anyone has any answers then I'd still appreciate them.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme
