ROM Hack Pokemon Natures help [has to do with pokesav]

I tried editing my Ledian's nature from Modest to Timid however when I check it on Legit.exe it says the pokemon is hacked. Is there something i'm forgetting to do?

Did you just generate a new PID for the nature you wanted? If you change the PID, the IVs need to change as well (unless it's a hatched Pokemon).

Because in most Pokemon, the IVs and PID are related by some kind of formula. Pokesav has a feature in the Pokemon Edit section that generates a PID for a specific set of IVs. There's also a command-line program at Project Pokemon that will generate PID/IV combinations for you:

The guy above you is correct...

If a pokemon is not shiny than the PID (Personality value) only uses the 6 IVs and a value corresponding to the nature...

When we start looking at making legit shinies...We add in Trainer ID, Secret ID, 6 IVs, and Nature Value...which makes it very hard to make a legal shiny

This is what I would check...

-make sure your IVs are legal
-Use SCV's PID Generator to generate a legal PID based on the IVs and Nature chosen (trial and error here...adjust till you find the right one)
-Make sure the PID from SCV's program matched where the pokemon comes from (ex...say the PID is Ultra Rare GBA but you made a Dialga...there is something wrong here)
-Check to see that you have a legal moveset
-Make sure you set it to the right location
-Make sure you set the hidden hex values correct

OR

You can just tell me what you want your pokemon to be...I will take care of the rest

I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND using the built int PID generator in Pokesav...

Most of the time it doesn't generate a legal PID

Like you also posted...use SCV's program...each and everytime

I tried the program and at first on the last check it said unkown pokemon BACE or something. Then when I redid the PID and IVs it says Hacked pokemon. What do I do now?

Also how do I change gender values and abilities. I.e. Ability 1 to Ability 2

I've always hated the hassle of PID's and whatnot so I just make hacked pokemon and then breed an egg from those hacked ones. I get the natures I want with the IV's I want and it comes up as perfectly legit.
