ROM Hack Pokemon HGSS Shiny pkmn cheat problem

whenever i activate the code and boot up the rom, i get dual white screens. it only occurs when i activate this particular code. does anyone have an updated code or a fix for this issue? EDIT: i'm using EDGE card w/ latest update.

you have to keep in mind that not all codes will work on all flash carts

edge, m3, ezv and scds

tend to have lots of problem on handling complicated codes

same problem, edge 1.9, but the funny thing is: i was using these cheats for this game on 1.8 and it worked perfectly. in fact i have pokemon 493-414 in cherish balls, all of them shiny. after updating to 1.9 to stop the game from repeatedly freezing and me having to stop every 5 pokemon to save, the cheat started white screening the game on startup. it's something to do with the update, but the cheat did work. and that's the same cheat that's on every action replay site, and the one i'm using. i added a hold L part into the code, but it still froze up, so that didn't work. if it's too complicated can someone teach me how to shorten it (or if your generous, shorten it for us?). diamond/platinum/other pkmn ds games all have shiny pokemon codes that work, even on 1.9 so i'm not too sure what is going on here. this is alot of information to use to help solve problem, edge users need love too >_>.

ps: if you tell me to buy another flash cart which i cannot afford hence why i use a flashcart at all, i don't appreciate it and think you should answer the question instead of dodging it and pointing fingers. loyal R4 people are patient, they can wait for a patch to the game even though they whine about the speed patches get out, it's not going to kill them to wait, the old R4 fanbase is big enough to warrant the patches to come out. edge cards are still being updated, iEdges are plenty updated. and i swear, every flashcart forum has someone spouting crap like : "stop complaining/if you have time to ___/just hurry up and --> just buy a new flashcart". -end rage rant.

Im running a r4 sdhc with 1.18b and i get the white screen with the same cheat. But it used to work b4

as i said... the code is complicated in nature

it sort of like a stress test on the firmware
like what i suggested.. thats nothing much i can do and the best solution is write to the r4 team
