Pokémon Platinum not starting in TWiLight Menu

Whenever I try to open Pokemon Platinum, it just freezes with a black screen. And when I try to activate cheats, it freezes with a white screen.

Try patching the game's anti-piracy with DS-Scene ROM Tool. It could be what's causing the anti-piracy by using cheats. @RocketRobz might know something that I don't.

Sounds more like a bad ROM dump to me. Platinum does not have AP, only HGSS and Gen 5 does.

For anyone else with this issue, you likely imported either a usrcheat.dat, or a Pokémon platinum .ini from another console or with bad options. Same thing happened to me when I mistakenly copied those files from my 3DS to my DS lite flash cart. Deleting them allowed my game to launch. I believe the issue to have been the cheats that added c stick functionality for the n3ds.
