Hacking Pokemon Heartgold cheats

Hey everyone,

I've got a question regarding cheats for pokemon HG. I've put the usrcheat.dat in the cheat folder. Cheat for other games seem to work just fine, expect for pokemon Heartgold. I've asked a friend of mine who plays pokemon soulsilver but the same thing happens to him, all the cheats we try won't work for these two games?

Is there a special cheatfile for these specific games? Or is there something else I need to do. And yes, we both activated cheats in the wood menu, its global on for all our games.

you can try cutting down the amount of cheat codes using r4cce or use ysmenu if you badly need to use the cheats

You mean cutting down cheats from pokemon heartgold / soul silver only, or you mean deleting games that I don't use cheats for with r4cce?
