to solve the problem we need to find the trigger in the events what plus 1 or minus 1 of the trigger that makes the crash problem and go to the trigger and modify to 9999 or -9999 to see if the problem is solved or not

i don't know how they can do this but this is the idea

P.D: sorry for my bad english xP

I there anyway we can just contact them, like the Xenophobia or Bahumat Group, and ask if they could just find an AP fix? this is getting to hard for us..

The AP isn't the thing that's killing the rom. If you'd pay attention to baldy, it's an overload error caused by the rom mis-reading 16-bit as 8-bit. It dumps the image on the screen (so it's just black), but the music can still play.

as far as i know... most AP from JP is done by 2 individuals + others

those that we see from E/U games are random and it can be count by 5 fingers

all the recent games are done by the same guy

Well my idea has probably already been tried by all the experts. Seems to me that what we need is to find the line of code responsible for counting the number of events and alter it so it's convinced the number of events is always zero, thus negating the problem. Now 'cause I'm a total newb at this I'm probably talking a load of bollocks, but if we have these emulator programs that allow us to find the part of the code that triggers the errors when they occur, logically the plan should be to deliberatly trigger the 24 event freeze so the area of code is identified and edit said code from there. But I'm sure if it was that simple someone would have done it and fixed it by now. I assume the problem is that I've misunderstood and the code isn't so easy to find. But that seems to me the logical area to focus on. Either that or just enhancing the Stealth Mode on most cards these days so the game doesn't know it's been stolen, which is probably best left to Team Cyclops, etc.

EDIT: whoa, typo army. Sorry about that...

To everyone who keeps on saying "Disable the Events" or "Change the Events to ####", you can't. The people who have been working on this have tried that, and it only leads to more problems.

As for "Use the (U) version to patch the (J) version", they can't do that either. There's a number of things that are different, including the text. There was a picture on the old thread of someone who tried and it jumbled up the entire script.

Is this an example?
The data we have really match this equation. But maybe there is another one. The "+ 24" is sure because when you have 0 badges it's 24 events needed

But if this is known, don't we know where it is, it should be possible to just delete it or change it, isn't it?
