That makes sense, and explains why my Chikorita is always so happy.MauriiDS said:The Pokémon gain 1 exp for every step and can only gain 1 level per walk (A Pokémon will not gain any more experience once it has enough for one level, but it will continue to gain happiness).Captain Cocoa said:Nope, I walked 10k steps yesterday and the newly hatched Chikorita I had only gained one level.
I think it's cut off and one level a trip, but you need to have so much time/steps to gain a level.

No but seriously I liked the casino why would they take it out? if it was in the original they should have kept it in the remake.
Remakes are supposed to add to a game not take parts away.
and is it just me or did the ai get really awful and it seems like they made the gym leaders easier I remember whitney's miltank used to use rollout so much that it would become unstoppable if you didn't take it out quickly but now all it uses is stomp
BlueStar said:OK, this seems as good a place to ask this as any. I felt like trying to migrate Squirtle to Soul Silver, as he was the first starter pokemon I had on Blue. I've got an AK2 with latest AKAIO and an ezflash V expansion in the gba port. I grabbed a Fire Red gba rom and flashed it to the NOR of my expansion pack. Problem is, when I start a game it says "The 1M sub-circuit board is not installed". It lets me continue, but I can't save. Any ideas?
MR_COW said:Does anyone know if you can re-battle Pokemon Trainer Red(basically Ash) after you beat him once? I remember it was limited in GS that you could only battle him like once a week or like after you beat the E4 again or something, but can you in HGSS? I hope so, cause I remember it being an awesome way to level cause his stuff is like level 80+
