Nope, I walked 10k steps yesterday and the newly hatched Chikorita I had only gained one level.
I think it's cut off and one level a trip, but you need to have so much time/steps to gain a level.
The Pokémon gain 1 exp for every step and can only gain 1 level per walk (A Pokémon will not gain any more experience once it has enough for one level, but it will continue to gain happiness).
That makes sense, and explains why my Chikorita is always so happy.

Where's my casino how am I supposed to vent my gambling addiction now?

No but seriously I liked the casino why would they take it out? if it was in the original they should have kept it in the remake.
Remakes are supposed to add to a game not take parts away.

and is it just me or did the ai get really awful and it seems like they made the gym leaders easier I remember whitney's miltank used to use rollout so much that it would become unstoppable if you didn't take it out quickly but now all it uses is stomp

Because parents were too busy bitching about their children gambling using FAKE MONEY. I wish they'd've kept it, but oh well. I never used them anyway.

OK, this seems as good a place to ask this as any. I felt like trying to migrate Squirtle to Soul Silver, as he was the first starter pokemon I had on Blue. I've got an AK2 with latest AKAIO and an ezflash V expansion in the gba port. I grabbed a Fire Red gba rom and flashed it to the NOR of my expansion pack. Problem is, when I start a game it says "The 1M sub-circuit board is not installed". It lets me continue, but I can't save. Any ideas?

I think you'll need a patch to be able to migrate pokemon from the expanion pack. Alternatively you can get Squirtle after you beat Red (IRRC)

Does anyone know if you can re-battle Pokemon Trainer Red(basically Ash) after you beat him once? I remember it was limited in GS that you could only battle him like once a week or like after you beat the E4 again or something, but can you in HGSS? I hope so, cause I remember it being an awesome way to level cause his stuff is like level 80+

You could re-battle him once a day in the original games if I recall correctly. I'd expect it to be the same in these games.

Hey guys,
I've been searching on how to obtain articuno, zapdos and moltres on cerebi.net.
It said that you must obtain '16' badges. How's that possible? I mean there's only 8 badges.
Furthermore from what i read, latios/latias , can only be obtainable by the WI-FI event and it's impossible to get it from where i live.
So the only way for me to get the event pokemon is by using cheat codes? Thanks in advance

PS: 'As with FireRed & LeafGreen, after you have earned all the KANTO badges, you will gain access to the Cerulean Cave'.Does this meant its impossible to get mewto if i'm playing soulsilver?
