I just beat the first gym and I want some advice on if i should keep gastly in my party or swap it for mareep.

Totodile lvl. 11

I haven't really played much yet due to the annoying AP, but I chose Totodile as my starter over Cyndaquil as I don't want two fire pokemon in my party once I get Ho-Oh

Oh and +1 to HG, Sableye is a HG version exclusive!

No. Actually, your routes are unlocked in HG/SS themselves and not necessarily in the Pokéwalker. So, whether you unlock a route or not is entirely dependent on your HG/SS save. And unless you find a way to manipulate the save of your official card, it's impossible.

(I know I didn't really explain that clearly, but I am too tired to explain)

You can't use the walker with a flash card in the first place.

Well from what Nurio said, I assumed he meant that those routes aren't unlocked with the walker, but from within the game.

Basically I was just asking whether any sort of Action-Replay'ing or PokeSav'ing would unlock any of the extra routes, which are unlocked from the walker or otherwise...

Cause... i laughed a lot with all the trolls who got banned with this matterDepends on the game. Sonic and sega all stars racing got like 70 pages (50 in the release thread and like 20 elsewhere) about a fix, and an ARM7 swap only partially fixed it (sleep mode would freeze the game) for a few carts, it didn't get a fix for a while on most carts... then there's some games that have AP issues and nobody posts a thread because nobody even wants to play them.

Only ultra releases like the pokemon games get this much attention.

I don't know about pokesav, but action replay codes would definitely be able to... just somebody would most likely need an actual action replay in order to use the legit game cart to make the codes in the first place.
