ROM Hack Pokemon BW Anti Piracy problems thread

I got Pokemon Black ROM and i'm using Cyclo DS Evolution with Firmware vB.4 (GUI BETA) everything is almost fine, exept of the non-EXP gain fact and the random freezes. But i save every 2 mins. I saw on the first post there was a Wood For Pokemon.rar file from MegaUpload does this also work for Cyclo DS Evolution. I wanna try it, but i don't know how to install/use it. Btw i'm using a DS Lite. Or there is something what Serebii said; "You don't actually level up at the start of the game. Starter remains at Level 5 til the end of the tutorial bit " Is it true???

Wood is for R4 only. I don't own a CycloDS so I can't help you there.

Have you a R4 SDHC??
If yes, Wood doesent work with R4 Clones like R4 SDHC
If no, no idea sorry

Currently running R4 Wood 1.12 on my original R4, and I haven't encountered any freezes yet. I'm on the first gym, too.

Also, I'm running the EXP-Fixed rom, so fix your rom A.S.A.P.

I have an Acekard 2i and I'm running AKAIO 1.7 and I was able to start the game using patches and after a random battle in Route 1 my game froze. When I try to access my save file the same black screen that appears after the professor's intro speech shows up.
Any help?

EDIT: I just started a new game, or at least attempted to, and it now does the same thing it did before I used any of the patches.

so I have Acekard 2i w/ Akaio 1.7.1 firmware.

Neither of the roms are working.
All I'm getting are white screens.

I've tried the hex codes, still nothing.

any suggestions?

Man, I've been trying different things for hours. Both Black and White, and still the same issue - I meet the professor, she asks my name and tells me about my two new friends, and then when she wishes me a good adventure the screen fades to black and just sits there.

Nothing happens.

Turned off soft reset and cheats. Nothing.

I've been trying mostly on Black. I'm gonna buy White and I don't wanna play it yet xP

I'm on an Acekard 2.1 running AKAIO 1.7.1...and half the people here aren't having any problems.
Any suggestions? Should I update ak2loader?

UPDATE: I just patched the game and it still doesn't start - two black screens JHDFKDFSFJDSKF

That patch. It worked for me and I was able to start the game, but it froze up on Route 1

Get a better computer. Unfortunately, desmume requires a very fast CPU to run at full speed.
