no when i try to patch to rom that 256 mb with the english trans it says that

With xDelta GUI, or with that all-in-one patch a few posts up? Because it shouldn't be doing that.

Are you sure the ROM you're patching is clean? As in no other English patches on it?

When you click 'Apply Patch' on xDelta GUI, you will have to wait some time until xDelta completely finished creating the 256 MB file. So just be patient and wait.

I should have mentioned this as well. You need to give it a sec. Try closing background programs (like this browser) when you do it.

For people who don't want to use xdelta, use cmd to patch with my custom cmd menu

All in one patcher! It contain only New logo patches.

I patched my clean black rom with the (new black logo Kara) thing . everything is still translated now except for the pokemon names. now the pokemon names are back to japanese. if it helps i am using Acekard 2i Akaio 1.8.1. also this is my first time using a (new black logo.kara) patch, usually i just use the new black logo patch

So are you saying that you patched your game with the "V5-Black-NewLogo-Kata" patch and you are wondering why the names in Japanese? o.O

Well if you noticed, the sentence above the download link for that patch said, "And for those of you who want to keep the Japanese names:" You get the hint that the Pokemon names will be in Japanese

I disagree with that because i have sakura and nothing has ever gone wrong for me. although i have tried that and it is pretty good, sakura is the best because it works mainly quickly

Please guys im begging here, anyone please help me, i've been trying for the past 3 days and I cant get it to work..

Im using R4i-sdhc (updates from www.r4i-sdhc.com)
Using a NDSi

Trying to get the official V5 Patched working and I get the -4 load rom error.

Whenever I try with a normal exp patched version of the game it works fine, why wont the english patch work for me?

Please any help would be greatly apreciated because this is driving me nuts.

Playing the game over again and in Huin City, next to the Pokemon Center to the left (Chance-Upon Survey HQ).. The building isn't translated but it seems its not related to the story.. Hopefully, the next versions will have that and many others translated, including the "Union Room". Will keep ya'll posted if I find anymore non translated places... in version 5.

Here's what I got so far as to finding what THINGs aren't translated in Version 5...

Hi everyone, I am new to this site. I have done EVERYTHING according to plan so far and I can't get it to work. I am using a DS Lite with an R4 SDHC Card. Here is what I have done:

1. Dumped a Clean Rom of Pokemon Black
2. Downloaded Rudolphs Patch, Applied it
3. Downloaded V5 New Logo Patch, Applied it
4. When I run it on the R4, it just loads a white screen, nothing else.
5. So I tried to Encrypt it using eDryptS Advanced
6. Still White Screen on R4

I followed everything word for word on the instructions on the first page of this post.

Any ideas?

Update: My DS is just saying "Loading..." won't even load the menu
