ROM Hack Pokemon Black 2 ar cheats not working

I downloaded the usrcheat.dat from the site and put it on my flashcart. I selected the cheats, but nothing is working. Can anyone help me out? And yes, i'm a newb....so please be kind.....please?

ps. I can use the same usrcheat and the same rom in DeSuMe and the cheats work just fine
