i was invited into a random battle last night from a random passerby they turned out to be 3 japaneese players (a 2 on 2 battle was setup by them), and all 3 had transporter pokemon in their parties, including MEW.. i had to save a battle video of it b/c of all the imported pokemon they had on them.. mews are out there...
